In August 2026, I traveled to Uganda, with two days in Rwanda before continuing on to Bwindi for a gorilla safari. Over several days, we learned about and experienced the process of habituating wild gorillas, spending time deep in the forest alongside the trackers and researchers who work with them. It was a truly one-of-a-kind experience, and these are some of my favorite photographs from the trip.
